Mark started his career in Winnipeg and spent many years working in a sales capacity and developing his sales skills.  

An opportunity arose in Calgary to work for a new kitchen cabinet company. This was an excellent opportunity as Calgary was growing and there was lots of experience to be gained. With his top year of selling and designing several hundred kitchens, Mark quickly moved up to managing a team of people.

After gaining many years of experience with new kitchens, it was time for a new challenge and he took on the role of managing and growing a cabinet refacing department with a different company. Mark managed and expanded this cabinet refacing division into parts of Alberta and Manitoba. After spending many years in Calgary, it was time for Mark and his wife, Sheri, to move back to Winnipeg. 

At the same time, Mark’s entrepreneurial side was stirring and he knew he wanted to own his own business. With all his experience and background in new kitchens and cabinet refacing, why not start his own cabinet refacing company. This is when Mark decided to start up Nu-Life Kitchens. Mark’s role is the overall operation of the company but his main focus is to provide in-home consultations, design ideas, color combinations, and as well, to manage your cabinet refacing installation. Mark is eager to share his knowledge and ideas with you and to assist you during your cabinet refacing renovation.

Originally from Manitoba, Sheri started her career in Winnipeg in the mutual fund industry.  After 10 years in internal audit and compliance, Sheri decided to pursue her passion and join Mark in creating and growing Nu-Life Kitchens.

With a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Certified Management Accounting Designation, Sheri is well-equipped to manage the operational and financial side of Nu-Life Kitchens.

Sheri has been an integral part of growing Nu-Life Kitchens right from the beginning. Sheri’s role in the company is managing the marketing, financial and operational functions, including the showroom and the warehouse.
